Intermediate Authoring

Students will take projects from concept to completion, including, time management and task sequencing. Emphasis is placed on teamwork and organizational skills.

Interface Design

Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:

  • Combine principles of design and interactivity to develop user-centered interface concepts.
  • Understand and apply principles of grid structures to layout navigational systems.
  • Use digital type as an expressive and informational tool of communication.
  • Use color as an expressive and informational tool of communication.
  • Understand the role of timing in an interactive experience.

Intro to Web Design

Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:

  • Design layouts for a web page.
  • Successfully convert Pantone colors into web colors.
  • Develop logically-structured web pages in Dreamweaver or similar program.
  • Identify the essential elements of successful page navigation.
  • Create workable links between portions of a page.
  • Animate graphical content.
  • Construct a form document.
